Kickin Black Bean Burger
Ingredients
½ bell pepper
1 yellow onion
1 tbsp olive oil
2-3 tsp EPICURE Kicking Jalapeno Mix
1 can(19 oz/450 ml) Black Beans ,
reserve 1/4 cup
1 egg
1tsp EPICURE SPG
1 pkg EPICURE Crispy and Crunchy Coating
2 tbsp olive oil
SAUCE
1 pkg EPICURE Hollandaise
1/2 lime
2 tbsp cilantro
1 tbsp water
COLESLAW
1/4 medium cabbage/2 c
DIRECTIONS
Using 4 in 1 Mandoline chop pepper and onion into small chunks. Set Sauté Pan on medium heat, add oil, pepper and onion. Flavour with Kicking Jalapeno Seasoning.
Saute for 5-7 minutes.
Place rinsed and drained beans, add egg, SPG, Crispy & Crunchy coating in the food processor.
Mix well until combined. Transfer bean mixture into 4 cup Prep Bowl. Add reserved beans, sautéed pepper and onion. Give it a stir. Form burgers using 3 in 1 Burger Press.
Fry burgers in a Sauté Pan on medium high.
Prepare Hollandaise according to the instructions on the package. Juice lime using 2 in 1 citrus press. Mix sauce ingredients in the bullet.
Using the 4-in-1 Mandoline, thinly slice cabbage.
Mix sliced cabbage with Hollandaise sauce.
Reserve 2 tbsp of sauce for nicer presentation.
Plate , serve with a glass of white wine. Enjoy!
