Health, Happiness, and a Little Bit of Spice
Hi, I’m Jacqueline McGrath — and like many women I know, I wear a lot of hats at once.
I’m a happily married mom of two grown sons, raised between the mountains of Alberta and the coastline of British Columbia. I surf, golf, bike, chase sunshine, and believe life tastes better with a little adventure (and a lot of good food). I’m obsessed with UNESCO heritage sites, authentic local cuisine, and any destination that shifts your perspective the moment you arrive.
But more than anything, I’m someone who spent 28 years building a food business from home — while raising two boys, managing a household, and proving day after day that a real, delicious, healthy meal doesn’t have to be complicated.
Good food made easy… that was the mission from the start.
Where It Started
My passion for food began at home — around the table, feeding the people I love. When my boys were young, I made one non‑negotiable decision:
Our meals would be real. Flavorful. Made with intention.
I wanted them to grow up knowing that food could be both fast and nourishing — that you never had to choose between taste and health. That philosophy became the foundation of the business I built for nearly three decades, teaching women across Canada and the U.S. that getting a great meal on the table was absolutely within reach.
Food has always been my love language.
It brings people together.
It sparks conversation.
It connects us.
But eventually, I learned something important:
Even really good food isn’t the whole story.
The Midlife Wake‑Up Call
As I moved through midlife — navigating menopause, energy dips, stubborn changes in my body that no one had warned me about — I started asking harder questions.
I was doing everything “right”:
• Eating clean
• Staying active
• Getting outside
And yet… something was still missing.
That’s when I discovered the work of Dr. Joel Wallach and the science behind the 90 essential nutrients the body needs to function at its best. Nutrients our modern food system rarely delivers — and the ones we need more, not less, as we age.
It reframed everything.
It connected the dots.
And it gave me a single word for the way I wanted to live going forward:
Proactive. Not reactive.
Why I Became a Certified Wholestic Health Coach
I didn’t want to wait for my health to slip and then try to repair it.
I wanted to support my body now — so I could keep surfing, traveling, golfing, and living fully for as long as possible.
And I wanted other women to have that same opportunity.
Because here’s the truth no one tells us:
Boomer women are not aging the way our mothers did.
We want energy. Mobility. Vitality.
We want to travel at 65, surf at 70, dance at 75.
We want a life that feels as vibrant as it looks.
That doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens by choice — consistent, proactive, informed choice.
