Paprika Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

1 large sweet onion

olive oil

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp Epicure Minced Garlic

2 Tbsp Epicure Marinara Sauce mix

1 Tbsp Epicure Arrabbiata Sauce mix

1 tsp Epicure Smoked Spanish Paprika

2 278 ml crushed tomatoes

8-10 medium raw shrimp

6-8 spears of asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces

linguini

Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste

Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste

DIRECTIONS

Add water to a large pot and bring to a boil. Add Linguini and cook according to directions on package.

In the meantime, slice up sweet onion using a cutting board and Prep Pro knife. In a Perfect Pan or fry pan, add oil and butter. Heat over medium high heat till melted. Add onion and cook till softened.

Add minced garlic, marinara, arrabiata and paprika. Stir and let flavor develop. Add shrimp and cook till no longer translucent.

Pour 2 - 276 ml cans of crushed tomatoes, add asparagus pieces and stir to mix well. Heat on medium low to cook asparagus and heat sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper

Drain cooked linguine and add to tomato sauce. Toss and serve with fresh basil and grated parmesan.
