Bloody Mary soup shots
Ingredients
1 x 28 oz canned chopped tomatoes unsalted
1 celery stalk
2 green onions chopped
1/2 c (125 ml) prepared Epicure’s Vegetable Broth or Epicure’s Nourish Broth
6 tbsp (90 ml) vodka
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tbsp Epicure’s Smoked Spanish Paprika
1/2 c sour cream for serving
2 tbsp milk of your choice
Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste
Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
DIRECTIONS
Using 2 in 1 Citrus Press squeeze juice out of the lemon.
Blend all ingredients until smooth. If soup is too thick, thin with additional broth or water(gradually 1 tbsp at the time). Season soup to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate.
Right before serving, whisk together sour cream and milk. The mixture has to be easily pourable. Transfer to a squeeze bottle or plastic bag with a small hole cut from one corner.
Pour soup into small drinking glasses. Squeeze a small coil of sour cream mixture onto soup. Using a toothpick or knife, drag lines from centre out to create a spider web design.
