My Journey in Direct Sales

I began my entrepreneurial journey in direct sales nearly 28 years ago, passionately helping families find real solutions to mealtime challenges. What started as a side hustle quickly grew into a thriving business, built through hard work, authentic connections, and a deep belief in the power of sharing products I loved.

But in January 2024, everything changed. Without warning, the company I had poured my heart into for nearly three decades abruptly shut down—leaving me, and thousands of others, without our January income. There was no notice, no support, and no consideration for the ambassadors who had built their businesses from the ground up. I was shocked. Even more devastating were the messages I received from team members in tears, unsure if they would be paid. It broke my heart.

Yet in the middle of heartbreak, I made a decision. Within hours, I began interviewing, networking, and seeking out a place where my team and I could land—somewhere that valued community, leadership, and integrity. That’s when I found Youngevity.

From my very first interaction, I felt at home. The leadership, the vision, and the open arms I was met with reminded me that this was not the end—it was a new beginning. The closure of Epicure was sad, yes, but perhaps necessary to make space for something even better.

This is a pivot, not a stop.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a company that is building a new home for those of us who were left looking. And I’m more excited than ever to continue doing what I love—supporting people in solving their real mealtime challenges, while helping others grow businesses of their own.
