Mussels in Marinara Sauce
Ingredients
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 chopped onion
1 tsp Epicure Minced Garlic or 2 cloves
1/4 C water or white wine
2 lbs fresh mussels
1 tbsp Epicure Lemon Dilly Dip
1 C prepared Epicure Marinara Sauce
DIRECTIONS
Rinse mussels and remove beards.
Prepare Marinara Sauce according to instructions on a jar of Marinara Sauce Mix in Epicure Multipurpose Pot - 12 C . Set aside.
Meanwhile saute onion and garlic in Epicure Perfect Pan , once translucent, add mussels and Lemon Dilly. Add Marina sauce, wine or water. Cover and cook for 6–10 minutes, or until all mussels have opened. Stir halfway through cooking. Discard any unopened mussels.
Serve with a loaf of rustic bread. Enjoy!
