Louisiana Kebabs with Grilled Peach Salsa
LOUISIANA KEBABS with GRILLED PEACH SALSA
Ingredients
2-3 peaches
1/3 green pepper
1/3 white onion
½ lime
1 tsp EPICURE Poco Picante Salsa Mix
1 lb lean ground beef
3 tbsp EPICURE Crispy & Crunchy Coating
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp EPICURE Louisiana Wing Seasoning
1 tsp EPICURE Roasted Garlic Aioli
2 c sliced red cabbage
½ c cocktail tomatoes
EPICURE Sea Salt to taste
EPICURE Black Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Remove the pit from peaches. Using Prep Pro Chef Knife quarter them and grill for 5-7 minutes. Chop peaches into the bite sized pieces.
Chop green pepper. Julienne white onion using 4 in 1 Mandoline.
Juice lime with 2 in 1 Citrus Press. Place peaches, green pepper, white onion, lime juice and Poco Picante in 4 C Prep Bowl mix well, put aside.
Mix beef with ketchup, Crispy & Crunchy, Louisiana Wing seasoning and Roasted Garlic Aioli, add salt and pepper. Mix meat well, shape into little sausages, chill them in the fridge for 30 minutes, if you have time.
Thread “sausages” onto Epicure Grill Boss Skewers and place on the BBQ for 10 minutes.
Slice cabbage using 4 in 1 Mandoline. Cut cocktail tomatoes in half. Plate cabbage with kebabs on top, salsa and tomatoes on the side.
