Keema Curry
KEEMA CURRY
Ingredients
1 pkg EPICURE Keema Curry Seasoning
2 cups water or broth
3 medium potatoes
2 cups frozen peas
1 lb ground chicken
1 lime
EPICURE Sea Salt to taste
EPICURE Black Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Combine seasoning with water or broth, set aside. Cut potatoes into small cubes, about 4 cups.
Place in Epicure Round Steamer, cover and microwave on high for 6-7 minutes. While potatoes are cooking brown chicken, separating using Epicure Meat Separator.
Using 2 in 1 Citrus Press juice your lime. Stir in reserved seasoning mixture. Bring to a boil. Then stir in 2 cups frozen peas and cooked potatoes. Simmer 5 minutes, add lime juice.
Vegan option – Replace meat with 1 can(19oz/540ml) lentils, drained and rinsed.
If needed add coconut milk, sour cream or yogurt to mellow it down.
