Cincinatti Chili
CINCINNATI CHILI
Ingredients
1/2 pkg EPICURE Cincinnati Chili
1 package puff pastry
½ cup water
1 lb lean ground beef
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp tomato paste
DIRECTIONS
Roll out the puff pastry to about 12” on top of a silicone liner. Once it reaches the desired thickness, use a butter knife to cut the pastry into 6 even squares. Make an indentation around the perimeter of each piece (do not cut through). Press the dough down in the center so it doesn’t puff up.
Place the silicone liner with pastry on a Sheet Pan and bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Once baked, use a cup to gently press the center of each pastry down to form a bowl.
Cincinnati Chili: Mix water with the Cincinnati Chili seasoning. Heat a Sauté Pan over medium heat and add oil. Once hot, add the meat.
Using a meat separator, break up the meat to ensure there are no clumps. Cook for 5 minutes, then add the seasoning mixture and tomato paste.
Prepare a salad of your choice. Plate the puff pastry bowls and top with Cincinnati Chili. Enjoy!
