POLENTA BOARD wit HERBED MUSHROOMS
Polenta board with herbed mushrooms
Ingredients
POLENTA
1/2 pkg EPICURE Polenta
½ cup water
½ cup milk of your choice
CRUMBLE
1 Tbsp olive oil or butter
½ tsp Epicure Minced Garlic
1/3 c walnuts or pine nuts
½ pkg EPICURE Crispy and Crunchy coating
½ tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp Epicure 3 Onion dip
HERBED MUSHROOMS
1.5 cup sliced mushrooms
1/3 c chopped onions
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tsp EPICURE Rosemary Garlic seasoning
2 tsp EPICURE Nourish broth
1/3 cup water
1/3 c half and half
Pinch of Epicure SPG
1/2 cup broccoli flowerets
DIRECTIONS
Add milk, water and Polenta mix to Square Steamer steamer. Whisk well.
Microwave for 5 minutes. Remove from the microwave and make sure that there are no lumps. Add 1/3 milk, 1 tsp butter, mix and put into the microwave for 8 minutes.
Place frying pan on medium high heat, add olive oil , once hot add all crumble ingredients and fry until crispy and golden brown.
Set Sauté Pan on medium heat, add olive oil. Add onions and sautee until transcluscent. Add sliced mushrooms, Rosemary Garlic seasoning, water, Nourish Broth, and hal and half. Flavour with SPG. Cook until sauce thickens.
Steam broccoli in rectangular steamer.
Arrange your Polenta Board and serve with a glass of red wine. Enjoy!
