COQ AU VIN
coq au vin
Ingredients
2 lb chicken thighs
2 c red wine Burgundy
2 c sliced mushrooms
½ c sliced carrots
1 onion
1 pkg EPICURE Coq Au Vin
DIRECTIONS
Marinate chicken overnight in 1 cup of wine.
Season chicken pieces with SPG or salt and pepper. Heat oil in Sauté Pan over medium high heat. Add chicken; cook until meat is cooked through, about 4–5 min. Set aside.
Add onion, mushrooms and carrots, to the pan and stir fry for 3 minutes. Stir in seasoning Coq Au Vin and wine; bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer 10 min. Uncover and simmer for 3–5 min, or until sauce thickens.
