Candied Pecans

Ingredients

1 pkg EPICURE Candied Yams

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg white - whipped

1 1/2 teaspoons orange juice

4 c pecan halves

DIRECTIONS

Line a sheet pan with a sheet pan liner.

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F

In a small bowl, whisk 1 egg white. When frothy, add 1 package of Epicure Candied Yams, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and the orange juice.

In a larger bowl. Add 4 cups pecans. Pour sauce over and stir to coat. Transfer the candied pecans to the prepared baking sheet and spread into one layer.

Bake for 35 minutes - at about half way through, turn with flipper. Continue cooking. Watch carefully not to burn.

Allow the pecans to cool down, and then break them up before serving.
