Bacon Cheeseburger dip

Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef, chicken, turkey, or meat substitute

EPICURE SPG or Salt & pepper, to taste

5-6 slices bacon

1 pkg EPICURE Cheeseburger Pasta Seasoning

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 can (10 oz/284 ml) Rotel® tomatoes or tomatoes of your choice

1 brick (8 oz/250 g ) Cream cheese softened

1 cup sour cream

3–4 pickles

2green onions

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350° F. In Multipurpose Steamer, add ground beef at the bottom. Place bacon on Multipurpose tray in Multipurpose Steamer. Cover and microwave on high 3-5 min, or until beef is cooked through and bacon is crispy.  Break up meat using Ground Meat Separator. Drain excess liquid; season to taste with SPG. Transfer beef to Square Steamer or 8"X8" baking dish. Crumble bacon. Set 1 tbsp aside for topping. To steamer or dish with cooked ground beef, add crumbled bacon, seasoning, cheddar, tomatoes, cream cheese, and sour cream. Stir to combine. Bake, uncovered, 10 -12 min, or until heated through and bubbling. Meanwhile, chop pickles and green onions. Remove dip from oven, top with pickles, green onions, reserved, crumbled bacon and toppings, if desired.  Serve with tortillas chips or naan. Enjoy!
