sweet and sticky cauliflower

Ingredients

1 egg

1 pkg Epicure Pancake & Waffle Mix

2 tsp Sesame oil

1 tsp Epicure SPG

Water

1 cauliflower

SAUCE

1 tbsp Sesame oil

1 pkg EPICURE General Tao

½ tbsp rice vinegar

¼ c soya

1/3 c water

½ c honey

DIRECTIONS

In a medium sized bowl whisk first 5 ingredient until smooth batter forms.

Preheat the oven to 425C

Coat washed pieces of cauliflower, and place them on a sheet pan lined with silicone liner.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Place sauce ingredients in Sautee Pan on medium high.

Cook until it thickens. Pour thickened sauce over cauliflower and toss, so all pieces are coated.

Using the same sheet pan with liner put coated cauliflower back in the oven for another 5 minutes.

Prepare rice according to these instructions. Plate your meal by placing cauliflower pieces on top of rice. Serve with a glass of white wine or beer. Enjoy!
