Boozy Truffles
Ingredients
1/2 lb dark chocolate
1/2 lb milk chocolate
2 tbsp butter
1/3 C heavy cream
1/3 C whiskey
1 tsp Epicure’s Sea Salt
Cocoa powder, ground walnuts, sprinkles etc. for rolling
DIRECTIONS
Place chocolate, heavy cream and butter in Epicure’s Round Steamer.
Heat in 40 second intervals, stirring with Epicure’s Piano Wire Whisk.
Add whiskey and sea salt. Whisk until completely smooth.
Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
Remove from the refrigerator, and use Epicure Prep Pro Scooper to shape the truffles. Roll each ball in cocoa, walnuts or sprinkles.
Refrigerate for up to 1 week in a sealed container.
