The blog begins - a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step

Well, this is not what I had in mind. I had hoped to get my blog started for the New Year. However, Let’s face it, LIFE IS BUSY!

My name is Jacqueline, and to say I am busy, well, that would be an understatement. I have a thriving business, I have a family, I love to travel, enjoy cooking and dabble in photography. Yes I am like you, juggling real life. Why not add a blog?  

Here it is. To assist me in this fun, quirky online dialogue, I would like to introduce you to LJ (Little Jacquie).

You are likely asking, “What’s with the mini me?

It all started with a few girlfriends and our Amazing Race trophy.

As our 2013 Amazing Race winner, I won our coveted award, a gnome and we decide we will roam.

My Gnome and I started with ventures in Calgary to view the floods of 2013.

We then traveled to Toronto, took a trip to BC wine country and Washington State.

We enjoyed golf and even learned how to wake surf behind our boat.

We had an amazing summer. There were many things I learned in 2013 while packing my gnome. The most important being, I need more room in my suitcase. Heck, a gal has got to have room for shoes. It was time to ditch the big guy.

So, I create something MUCH SMALLER. And thus, LJ

We have plans to update you on our fun adventures.

Watch for posts on eating in, dining out and sharing travels of adventures in wanderlust.

Travel plans to Mexico, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Dubai.

I wonder what kind of fun we can find, or trouble we can find?
